Class Schedules
We offer Basic Beading the second Saturday of every month from 10:00 to Noon. There is a $5
fee for Basic Beading.
We request the $5 deposit so that we can plan on the number of students in a class and not overbook. We want to be able to assist each student and their individual needs.
Fantasy Bracelet - This is made
with 2 beads - 6mm beads and seed
beads. The 6mm beads can be any
round, or roundish, bead from crystals
to gemstones. The only limit to
color combinations is your imagination.
Daisy bracelet - This
bracelet is a repeating floral pattern
made of 6mm flower centers surrounded by
4mm crystals and seed beads.
Flower Patch Bracelet -
This is a meadow of tiny flowers for
your wrist. It uses 6/0 and 11/0
seed beads and the flower beads.
Very spring-time.
Braided Bracelet - This
is a three strand bracelet made of 3mm
crystals and 1 - 3 colors of triangle
beads. A tighter braid on this
bracelet shortens it's length. The
ability to adjust the length a bit makes
it a great one to give as a gift if
you're not sure of the recipient's wrist
size.
Dual Spiral Bracelet - This
bracelet uses 6/0 and 11/0 seed beads
and 2 types of 4 - 6 mm accent
beads. The store sample has pearls
and 4mm crystals.
Peyote Twist Pens
- This class is $40.00 which includes
the pen and 2 or 3 colors of Delica
beads. The pen is a Cross type pen
made specifically to be beaded around.
Doug's Crystal Path - This
one is similar to our Tennis Bracelet
but is a bit wider. Using a
different color in the middle rows
reveals the bracelet's "path".
This is an intermediate level class.
Flat Ndebele Bracelet -
This is a really attractive bracelet
made with 4mm cubes. It works up
quickly, looks great and is considered a
beginner level project.
Tennis Bracelet - This is
one of our most popular. Made with
4mm crystal bicones, you can use chinese
crystals, czech crystals or go for the
bling and use Swarovski cyrstals.
This is a beginner level class which
teaches a form of right-angle weave.
Herringbone Necklace -
This necklace uses tubular herringbone
(also known as Ndebele). This
would be considered an intermediate
level class.
Chandelier Earrings - If
you love those chandelier earrings and
want to learn techniques that will let
you have a pair to match every outfit,
come in for this beginner level earring
class.
Netted Amulet Bag - This
is a fun class which teaches tubular
netting. You can make the fringe
and danglies as simple or elaborate as
you'd like.
Ruffled Chip Necklace -
This is a fun, simple necklace made with
ruffled netting. It makes up
quickly and looks good.
Caterpillar Bracelet -
This is another beginner class.
It's a great excuse to play with
colors. It uses triangle beads and
two sizes of seed beads.
Waltz Bracelet - This
attractive bracelet uses 6mm crystals
and has picot edging.
Wire Crochet Necklace - If
you have a knowledge of crochet it makes
this one easier. If you don't know
crochet, it is a more challenging.
You really want to stay until the end of
this class so you can learn finishing
techniques.
